📚✨ Collaboration and Growth Across the County! ✨📚
Yesterday at Galesburg-Augusta Primary, we had the privilege of hosting Instructional Rounds with administrators, coaches, and teachers from across the county. Schools like Vicksburg, Portage, Gull Lake, Comstock, and more sent teams to observe classrooms and engage in meaningful reflection.
Instructional Rounds are a practice where educators visit classrooms, reflect on what they observe, and discuss strategies to improve teaching and learning. It’s about understanding what’s happening in the classroom, how we can collectively improve, and how we can make strides toward better student outcomes.
Participants exchanged insights on improving instructional practices and enhancing student learning. Many shared how Galesburg-Augusta's rounds process provided fresh perspectives and practical strategies for their own districts. The opportunity to experience a different instructional setting and the structured reflection time proved to be especially valuable.
Thank you to everyone who participated – we look forward to more opportunities for collaboration and growth.

This award honors those who have gone above and beyond supporting students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). Nominations are due March 7.

The Galesburg-Augusta community has been shaped by many incredible people, and Dale Martin is one of them. ❤💛 His love for G-A started long ago, and so did his love story with Susan, his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years.
Though Susan is no longer with us, her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and Dale continues to carry their shared legacy forward. 💛
