INVITATION TO BID
Galesburg Augusta Community Schools (GACS) will accept sealed bids for its Primary School/High School Lighting Upgrade Project as described in the attached plans and specifications. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm on April 21, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened at the District Admin Office, 1076 N 37th St, Galesburg, MI 49053. No oral, telephonic, email, telegraphic or facsimile proposals will be accepted. No proposals will be accepted after the time of closing of bids.

*** Schedule Change ***
Our G-A staff are scheduled to get their 2nd covid vaccinations next Wednesday, Feb. 24th. Yeah! Looking ahead, we need to make a minor schedule change to accommodate any potential side effects that our staff may experience.
Next Thursday, February 25th will be a VIRTUAL learning day for all students. Teachers will provide more information on their virtual plans.
Free daycare for K-5th students will be available.
It is our sincere hope that this will be the LAST schedule change that we will need to make. We recognize the difficulties that schedule changes make for families & we appreciate your patience. Thank you!
We will be CLOSED TOMORROW, Tuesday 2/16, due to the weather conditions. The daycare will be open.

Our goal was to move to full face to face instruction starting Feb. 15th. However, we want to keep students and staff safe to the best of our ability, and we have some safety items that will not be in until the end of next week or early the following week.
