G-A Community Schools (including daycare) will be closed Thursday, December 5th due to inclement weather. National Weather Service indicates hazardous road conditions in the morning.
From GABCA: The Galesburg Winter Wonderland Parade originally planned for tonight at 6:00 has been rescheduled for this Saturday, December 7th, 2024.
Winter Storm Warning: Due to projected weather conditions, all Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools events, activities, daycare, and meetings scheduled after 5:00 PM on December 4th are canceled. This includes the Ram Band’s participation in the parade.

Drop-off boxes are at each school, and every donation will go directly to a child in need within our community. Let’s make this a season to remember – together!
From the Athletic Director: The District Volleyball Tournament being held at Galesburg-Augusta High School on Monday, Nov. 4th (5 p.m.), Wednesday, Nov. 6th (5 p.m.) and Thursday, Nov. 7th (7 p.m.) is an M.H.S.A.A. event, so we will not be allowed to accept passes, including senior citizen passes. Also, G-A students will be required to pay to attend. In addition, cash will NOT be accepted per M.H.S.A.A. policy. Tickets may be purchased in advance on GoFan or with a credit/debit card at the event.
