"Outside the Picket Fence" is a story inspired by the awesome patients Sonya used to work with, who had Alzheimer's, and by the women who paved the way for non-traditional roles, one baby step at a time!
Sonya has a bachelor’s degree in journalism, a masters degree in occupational therapy, and a heart for writing. Sonya says, “I am thoroughly entertained by all things kitschy and ironic. I love to read, write, embarrass my children and travel.”
Sonya provides occupational therapy services to students in Climax Scotts, Comstock, Galesburg-Augusta, Gull Lake, and Parchment.
The girl's Varsity basketball game scheduled for Tues. Jan. 25th at Lawrence HS has been canceled.
