Process for Chromebook Repairs
To streamline the process of distributing and repairing Chromebooks, the school office will coordinate with the tech department to take in broken devices for repair, and also distribute devices for students just starting. A station is set up in the Main office of each school where students/parents will fill out a form outlining their device issue. Devices that come back for repair will be replaced with a different device for the students, so they do not have to come back and retrieve the repaired device. Students will have a different device, but it will work the same as the device that they dropped off for repair.
We also have a G-A Device Repair Form <https://forms.gle/DWrTvKYNUbQ8vezn6> for virtual students to use that need repairs. This is similar in form and function to the paper repair forms that students will use when they are in person, it is just an online version of that for virtual students.

Examples of technical issues are: difficulty connecting their device to the WiFi at home, no volume, mic doesn't work, etc...
