***Attention G-A Student-Athletes and Parents***

Ram Power & Speed Training Program

We have some exciting news to share with you. We will be starting a new summer “Strength, Conditioning, Speed, and Agility” program that will be free of charge for all 6th-12th grade G-A students. The program will be directed by Coach Porter, who is the varsity softball coach at G-A High School. Coach Porter has many years of experience in this area at the high school and collegiate level. We encourage all G-A athletes to attend and be a part of our new Unified Strength, Conditioning, Speed, and Agility Program. The program is designed for all athletes and is highly encouraged for both male and females. This is part of a positive change in our athletic department and across G-A Community Schools to strengthen our young student-athletes both mentally and physically for current and future success.

PROGRAM DETAILS:


Dates: Starts on Monday, July 8th and ends on Friday, August 9th (could possibly be extended)

Days/Time: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Please have rides arranged. The school will be locked 15 minutes after the conclusion of each session.

Location: High School Weight Room

Program: Bigger, Faster, Stronger (B.F.S.) and possibly a mixture of other programs. This is a program,

What to wear: Work out clothing and tennis shoes

Additional Information: This is a PROGRAM. It is NOT an “open weight room”. The program can be used to supplement other sport specific weight/conditioning programs that may be offered by other coaches.

Participants will have an opportunity to earn a free T-shirt. The T-shirts will be designed(different colors) to acknowledge the student-athletes level of commitment, which will be passed on their attendance.
