Mrs. Anne Quartermaine
I am a graduate of Gull Lake High School (85) and have earned my BS (90) and MA (95) degrees from Western Michigan University. In addition to attending WMU, I began my post-secondary education at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where I was a member of the volleyball team for 4 years. I have degrees in Secondary Mathematics, English and Educational Leadership.
I am beginning my fifteeth year at Galesburg-Augusta High School. This will be my 28th year in public education with tenures at Gull Lake Community Schools (teaching middle school mathematics, coaching volleyball, and administration) and at Marshall Public Schools (middle school administration). I am currently the mathematics department chairperson and a member of the GAHS core-sit team. I have served as advisor to the classes of 2011 and 2015 and am currently co-advisor with Mrs. Pollard for the National Honor Society.
This school year I will be teaching Algebra I, Algebra II, Honors Algebra II, Pre-Calc and Trig and two RTI Seminar classes as well as mentoring a student intern teacher the first semester of school.
I am married (Christopher), have two sons (Cooper and Trenton) and two dogs (Yogi and Teddy). Cooper (23) is a second year medical student at the University of Cincinnati Medical School and Trenton (18) is a sophomore at KVCC where he is also a member of the baseball team. I enjoy gardening, beachcombing, baking, real estate, and watching sporting events.
