The Greater Galesburg Days Parade is back this year! All G-A Band students and alumni are invited to come out and play the School Song in the parade on Saturday, June 18, 2022!
Those who wish to participate in the parade should sign up here, and report to the Primary School parking lot at 10:45am with their instrument. Wear your favorite G-A gear! If you need to borrow an instrument from the school, please coordinate directly with Mr. Walker (scottie.walker@garams.org). If you need a copy of the G-A School Song, please indicate this on the Google form.
The parade steps off from the Primary School at 11:00am, traveling down Battle Creek Street toward downtown, then looping back to the Primary. The band will be riding on a flatbed trailer, so there is no marching involved (unless you are Color Guard). I anticipate arriving back at the Primary between 11:30 and 11:45, depending on the pace of the parade.
